The 33 NHS hospital trusts in London where no coronavirus deaths were recorded last week – My London



The vast majority London hospital trusts recorded no coronavirus deaths last week, latest figures show.

Data published by NHS England shows that from Monday, July 13 to Sunday, July 19, 33 NHS trusts in the capital recorded no Covid-19 deaths.

Sadly, three hospital trusts did record deaths, with a total of four people dying in London’s hospitals.

The trusts which recorded deaths last week were Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and North East London NHS Foundation Trust.

These latest figures are encouraging and further show that Covid-19 is a virus that can be beaten.

In London, more than 6,100 people have confirmed to have died of coronavirus, although that number is thought to be much higher due to previous testing limitations.

As of Wednesday night (July 22), 34,695 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in London, according to figures published by Public Health England.
