Police seek potentially armed’ suspect after east-end shooting – The London Free Press

London police are searching for a second suspect after multiple gunshots rang out in east London last month.

Samater Ali, 28, of London is wanted on several charges and is considered potentially armed and dangerous, police said Tuesday.

Officers found bullet casings near Oxford Street East and Third Street after they were called to the scene around 4 a.m. June 10.

No injuries or property damage have been reported, police said. Investigators do not believe the shooting was a random act.

There is a warrant out for Ali’s arrest. He’s wanted for recklessly discharging a gun, possessing a loaded gun and possessing a gun while prohibited.

Late last month, police arrested another suspect connected to the June 10 incident. A 27-year-old London man has been charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm with intent to wound and possessing a loaded gun without a licence.
