Man fighting for life after being hit by coach in Hammersmith – Evening Standard

A 37-year-old man is fighting for his life after being struck by a coach in west London.

Scotland Yard said officers were called to the scene of the incident at Shepherds Bush Road, Hammersmith, at around 6.55pm on Sunday.

The man was taken to a north London hospital, where he remains in a “critical condition”.

The driver of the coach is helping police with their inquiries and has not been arrested, the Metropolitan Police said.

A Scotland Yard spokesperson said: “Detectives are appealing for information after a pedestrian was critically injured following a collision with a coach in Hammersmith.

“The pedestrian, a 37-year-old man, was taken by the London Ambulance Service to a north London hospital in a critical condition.”
