Londoner, 38, dead after motorcycle crash in Norfolk County – The London Free Press

A 38-year-old motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Norfolk County on Saturday afternoon.

Norfolk County OPP said that around 2:05 p.m. Saturday, police and paramedic services responded to a collision involving a motorcyclist.

Police said that a white-and-blue-coloured motorcycle was travelling southwest along Spooky Hollow Road in Norfolk County near Normandale with other motorcycle riders. The driver left the roadway, entered the west side of the road and collided with a metal gate and tree, police said.

A 38-year-old rider from London suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

An investigation was ongoing, police said on Saturday evening, and the identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

On Saturday evening, police said Spooky Hollow Road was closed between Front Road and Front Road of Normandale for further investigation.

Police said speed and alcohol are not being considered as contributing factors.
