London weather: Exactly when the next 4-day heatwave is forecast for the capital – MyLondon

London is set to experience a four-day heatwave next weekend, with temperatures forecast to be hotter than Ibiza, Greece and Portugal.

The capital will bask in sunshine from Thursday, August 6 to Sunday, August 9.

Temperatures are expected to reach a sweltering 33C.

Although that doesn’t quite match the 37.8C recorded at Heathrow on Friday (July 31) – the third hottest day ever recorded in the UK – it’s certainly something to look forward to.
