London black cab driver drags passenger from taxi and leaves him unconscious in the middle of the road – The Sun



A TAXI driver dragged an unconscious passenger from the back of his black cab and left him lying in the middle of the road.

The cabbie was caught on camera dumping the man in Fenchurch Street, in the heart of the City of London, before speeding away from the scene.

Cops said the passenger hit his head as he was dragged across the tarmac by his feet.

He was found by an off-duty police officer 15 minutes later and paramedics took him to a nearby hospital.

Bizarrely, the driver then spoke to the officer but at no point revealed that the victim had been in his vehicle.

Police are now searching for the callous cabbie and have slammed his selfish actions.

PC Christopher Hook, from the City of London Police, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident on May 16.

“To forcibly move a vulnerable person from your taxi and to leave them lying in the middle of the road is appalling and we need to find the man that did this.”Anyone with information should call 0207 601 2222 and quote the reference number 2403.
