London and the surrounding region could see up to 10 cm of snow Sunday, according to a weather advisory from Environment Canada.
The weather agency issued the advisory for London, Parkhill, Strathroy, Komoka along with Western and Eastern Middlesex County.
Environment Canada says the region could see between five to 10 cm of snow which are expected to come down between morning and 10 p.m.
“Some areas may switch over to ice pellets and/or rainfall later this afternoon. Snowfall accumulation should generally increase for areas away from Lake Erie,” the weather agency said in the advisory.
Motorists should be prepared for winter weather driving conditions as poor visibility and slippery roads are expected, the advisory noted.
