Hayes shooting live: Murder investigation launched after man shot dead on Austin Road – MyLondon
A man in his 20s has been shot and killed on a West London road.
Police rushed to the scene on Austin Road, Hayes, shortly before 10pm last night (Tuesday, October 13) to reports of the attack.
Paramedics also attended but sadly, despite their best efforts the victim died at the scene.
A crime scene has been established as investigators work at the scene.
Homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime group have been informed about the incident.
The London Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.

Two arrests have been made in connection to the shooting
According to a police spokesperson: “Two men in their 20s have been arrested in connection with this incident and remain in police custody.”

Update from the London Ambulance Service
A spokesperson said: “We were called at 9:58pm yesterday (October 13) to reports of a shooting on Austin Road, Hayes.
“We sent an ambulance crew, three medics in cars, an incident response officer and an advanced paramedic. We also dispatched a London’s Air Ambulance trauma team in a car.
Sadly, despite best efforts of medics, a man died at the scene.”
