City hall election debate season has begun. Here’s a schedule – The London Free Press



London’s municipal election campaign hasn’t started heating up yet – but debate season is underway.

While Labour Day traditionally acts as the starting point for civic elections, Rogers TV has started recording all-candidates debates with Wards 1 and 2 on Monday night. They’ll all be broadcast throughout the fall, leading to the Oct. 22 election.

Here are the dates for the remaining debates, which will all be held at Aeolian Hall in Old East Village. Admission is free and doors open for each at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, August 21st – Ward 3 & 4 – 7:00pm
Wednesday, August 22nd – Ward 5 & 6 – 7:00pm
Thursday, August 23rd – Ward 7 & 8 – 7:00pm
Wednesday, August 29th – Ward 9 & 10 – 7:00pm
Thursday, August 30th – Ward 11 & 12 – 7:00pm
Wednesday, September 5th – Ward 13 & 14 – 7:00pm
Thursday, September 6th – Mayoral – 7:00pm
