Bolts Buzz: Kyle Emanuel Tours London – Chargers.com (press release) (blog)

Before the Chargers head to London to play the Titans in October, Kyle Emanuel jumped across the pond this past week for an early preview of the city’s sights on the NFL UK Summer Tour. Emanuel also spent time participating in the NFL Flag Summer Bowl, which 1,000 kids attended and played in.

Kyle Emanuel took in the city’s sights with NFL UK before the Bolts take on the Titans at Wembley Stadium in Week 7.

The offseason may be almost over, but Mike Williams is making the most of it. On Saturday, Williams will be hosting a Youth Football Camp and Community Fun Day at his old high school, Lake Marion High, in Santee, SC. The event will feature food and fun for the whole family.

Ahead of training camp, Chargers General Manager Tom Telesco joined Petros and Money on AM 570 LA Sports radio. The GM spoke on a wide variety of topics before the team convenes at Jack Hammett Sports Complex on Saturday, July 28.

Even though training camp hasn’t begun yet, it’s never too early to start anticipating who will play in Super Bowl LIII. USA Today predicted the Chargers to go 10-6 on the season, win the AFC West and defeat the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. The prediction also sees the Chargers facing off against the Falcons in the big game, with the Bolts falling to the Birds.

It’s been a busy July for Michael Schofield and his new wife, Olympic gold medalist Kendall Coyne. Two weeks ago, the pair said “I do” surrounded by family and friends in Chicago. Then this past week, Schofield and Coyne attended the ESPYs, where the U.S. Women’s Hockey team won the “Best Game” award for the game that won them their gold medal win at this year’s Winter Olympics. On the red carpet, Schofield and Coyne recreated their iconic pose from the end of the gold medal game.
