Banksy unveils new artwork on London Underground and video shows more of his face than ever – MyLondon

Banksy has shared a new piece of art with his Instagram followers, which he managed to create on the London Underground.

The work, labelled ‘if you don’t mask – you don’t get’ on Instagram, depicts a number of rats messing around with face masks, for example using one as a parachute.

Another features a rat without a face mask sneezing all over the carriage window and leaving a nasty mess.

As well as leaving his signature Banksy left a message to Londoners – ‘I get lockdown, but I get up again’.

The video of him creating the work shows the artist in a white suit and hi-vis jacket, confidently striding on to the Tube carriage and spray painting the walls.

You also get a glimpse of the artist’s face, albeit covered by a mask, but it’s more than we’ve seen before.
