Arrests after men and women have a knife fight in East London street – MyLondon
Police have arrested a number of people after officers were called to a knife fight in East London on Friday (November 20).
The incident, which took place on Teviot Street, Poplar, E14, involved two armed groups.
Just before 9pm, police arrived at the scene to find five injured people, three of them male.

All five were treated and arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
In a statement, Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to Teviot Street, E14, shortly before 21.00hrs on Friday, 20 November to reports of a fight between two groups of people armed with knives.
“Five people were found injured (three males and two females).
“They were treated at the scene by paramedics from London Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital.
“None of their injuries are life-threatening.
“They have all been arrested on suspicion of causing GBH and have been taken into custody.
“Two other men presented themselves at an east London hospital a short time later, one with a stab wound.
“His condition has been assessed as non life-threatening.
“The other man has been arrested on suspicion of causing GBH and has been taken into custody.
“A crime scene has been put in place in Teviot Street.
